A few of my favourite things...

Well what a beautiful sunny day it is today.
Well even though we still are not out and about antiquing, I thought I would share with you some of our finds over the years.  Lets start with the furniture, This (quebec) pine cupboard has seen a lot of rooms in my house. It is now a fixture in  our kitchen and acts as our pantry.
Dates back to 1800's. Then came this cute high chair. The amount of small children that have used this chair still amazes me. We have had it for 15 years and most of my grandchildren have sat in it. It is still used for our youngest who is 2 1/2yrs old. It pushes up to the table and the arms sit just under the rim. This cute high chair matches with our table and chairs that we purchased over 45 years ago for only $20.00.
Love this white iron bed. When we purchased this, we needed to have it longer, so we took the frame to the welder and he added on to the frame. We have a grandmas feather mattress  (John Denver oldy) and every one  that stays in this guest room has an awesome nights sleep. Love the brass finials. This cute little wash stands (picked up @ Aberfoyle flea market) sits beside the bed.

Crocks of all sizes.Oil lamps, large copper pot.  I hope I did not bore you. I have many more to share another day. Hope you have a great weekend.
